Love & Hip Hop Hollywood Season 2 Ep: 1 Recap!

Okay, so I never imagined I would commit to covering an entire season of ratchet tv, BUT this season of L&HH seems like it will rate at least 120% on the ratchet scale...that's promising if you ask me! It's ratchet season people, so get your popcorn, snacks, juice, whatever you need, and let's goooo!

The episode begins with Moniece, Teairra Mari, and Apryl Jones lounging on a beach. Moniece reveals she's in a relationship with a new man who remained nameless - for now. According to Teairra she's completely done with Ray-J, (sure) at the mention of his name the women then spill the tea and share with us that Princess' recent arrest in New Orleans was because of an altercation she had with Ray. Smh, that is such a mess - in case you were wondering, yes, he's still an ass this season. Apryl and her nose ring interject to say that she is planning a post baby party and lets Teairra know that Princess will be in attendance. TT (Teairra) promises that she will behave as long as Princess acts like she has some sense and does the same.

S/N: All of last season, I gawked at TT's hair and wondered why the hell they didn't get her a better wig... I know I wasn't the only person that thought that... Her hair in the first scene was questionable. It was just that one piece hanging that threw me off. I glared at that one strand the entire time lmao. No shade, though - she cute! Now, the red wig didn't look too terrible. She looks great with red hair. 

Meanwhile, across town, we find Hazel in the studio with producer Milan (am I the only person who's never heard of him?). Her grandfather recently passed and she was surprised when former best friend TT reached out to her after the funeral. Milan has been dating someone for a while, and he's ready to get married, and start a family. It is definitely a conversation he needs to have with his love, although he isn't sure how it will be received. Clearly, he is nothing like the rest of the men on the show...clearly.

Ray-J and Princess are both recapping their fight in New Orleans. Princess recalls confronting Ray about trying to get with strippers which resulted in an altercation. Due to the fact that Ray's stupid ass was on probation, Princess took the rap and went to jail. For that, Ray is extremely grateful...well sir, actions speak louder than words. Princess is not happy about the fact that Ray ran to TMZ while she was locked up and accused her of breaking his ribs during their "altercation". Honestly, what type of grown man runs to the media to spew hateful lies about their lady? C'mon Ray, you have to do better. According to Ray, he's "super sorry for how things went down" and feels as though he needs to make things right with Princess. She moved out of their condo and is staying with a friend. They agree to meet, during their conversation Princess asks the extent of his stripper romping when he's traveling without her and confronts him about the events in New Orleans - his response:




Wait... lmao - what in the world?! Oh, God, the look on her face was priceless. Honestly, how do you even respond to that ... he is truly something else. As usual he dodges all of the questions, ruffles his feather-like beard and apologizes repetitively. She should forgive him one more time. Just one. How often is she willing to forgive him? Ray-J is a mess.

We find Omarion performing in Studio City, for a crowd which includes his love Apryl. He's busy touring, on the verge of dropping a highly anticipated single, and in love with his little man Mega. Nikki arrives to chill out with Apryl and announces that she's as single as a dollar bill. She plans to twerk her way through Hollywood until she finds Mr. Right. I almost didn't recognize her, she looks amazing. I'm guessing she got rid of her previous make artist because this season she's sporting a more natural look - less plastic, more chill. She has a new lingerie line, and Apryl is hoping that some of Nikki's sexy pieces can help revive her sex life with Omarion. She plans on popping up at work and surprising him with quickies - now we all know if any other lady on the show tried something like this all hell would break loose. Those men ain't loyal!



Moniece seems to  be doing really well. Apparently she and drew are co-parenting, and she is totally in love with her mystery man who she's been seeing for 7 months. LOW AND BEHOLD! It's Mr. Richie Dollaz himself. I wasn't too surprised by this since I spotted the two at Yandy and Mendeces wedding - I definitely said that like I was there.. lmao lies. DVR BABY!

Meanwhile, Princess (young, dumb and in love) has decided to give Ray another chance, he's treating her to a date on a beautiful Yacht. They speak about Ray's recent activities and he announces that he's addicted to the "after-party life" lmao - I don't know how he comes up with this shit. At this point, he will do anything for Princess to come home. She demands that he needs to get rid of the apartment where he "conducts business"...uh huh. Say no more! "I'm done...done! I'm done with that." Ray-J declared. This guy....

Per Nikki's suggestion Apryl barges into Omarion's rehearsal wearing thigh highs and a trench coat. She gives him a lapdance and explains that she plans on putting forth more effort to keep the excitement going in their sex life. They dip off into the dressing room..mhum!

There's a new girl in the bunch, Amber also known as Fab Ab - they just chucked her right on in there, when she popped up on the screen I was like "but wait..." Anyhow, like most of the women on the show she oozes confidence and attitude but is struggling in the romance department. She's collaborating with Miles who is also a rapper, and just happens to be her high school sweetheart. They're not dating, but they're not apart either...interesting. Amber declares that Miles has been ghost lately, but then we find out that he's in love with someone else. HOWEVER, he isn't ready to discuss it with Amber just yet. This should be interesting...






Apryl's pampering party has arrived! Apryl pulls Princess aside and lets her know that Teairra would be arriving shortly. Of course, Apryl is worried about a possible altercation - we all saw how things went down the last time these two were in a room together. Princess promises that she will be on her best behavior. Princess approaches Teairra, which doesn't please TT very much since she had no intention of speaking to her ex-boyfriend's ex- girlfriend. Shockingly, the women manage to bond over the fact that Ray-J is a .... and feeds lies to the media. An overwhelmed Princess begins to cry, TT reminds her that a man should make a woman feel protected, states that Princess deserves better and proceeds to hug her. I couldn't have been the only shocked person at this moment. Now, I'm not sure if TT is changing her ways, or if she's secretly trying to win Ray's trifling ass back - we shall see - but one thing I do know is, you never cry in front of your man's ex about your man. C'mon Pretty P...wisen up!

S/N: Her eyebrows tho...snatched.



Now, I don't know about you, but I almost fell out my damn chair when Milan hopped his ass in that bed! Throughout the LHH franchise, we've had our fair share of shocking moments, but this...girl! I thought there was a possibility that Milan's love was a man, but I didnt expect it to be MILES! All of America was like:



We find out that Milan is the first man Miles has been with and thinks he'll be the last - he's found his true love... supposedly. The only problem is that Milan is out and has no problem letting the world know he's a happy gay black man, Miles on the other hand, is afraid of the stigma in hip hop as well as how his friends and family will react to the news. He isn't comfortable with taking their relationship public he says while he stares into the camera... ironic, eh?

Here we go again with the nonsense...of course, Ray promised Princess he'd get rid of his apartment, BUT he feels the need to give it a proper send-off. That makes sense...right,? He tells her that he's working late, then she receives a text from a friend asking her if she's going to Ray's apartment party tonight. The hell... Princess arrives just in time to see Ray grabbing ass and carrying on. Well, Princess starts tossing drinks, as Ray attempts to explain that it's a finale party - yes because, that makes it okay. smh. When Princess screams that they're done, he turns around and yells "You want to know who I am? this is how I turn up!" Some random stripper calls Princess "crusty" (lmao, rude much?) and Princess attacks. While the production/security team tries to separate the women, all hell is breaking loose and Ray is being called a "b**** N****"

Between the creeping, plotting, and Ray-J's foolery It's going to be one hell of a season!
